It’s three weeks until Christmas day! With just 20 nights to go until the most splendid meal of the year, seeking out something sumptuous for Christmas Day is probably near the top of your list. Happily we’re going to be popping up all over with a fantastic festive selection for your Christmas table, including a couple of new recipes that we’ve developed especially for the season.
First up is our brand new Roasted Parsnip, Whisky & Chestnut Pie which combines roasted parsnips, chestnuts and a cheeky tot of whisky into a proper cockle-warmer. Perfect for fueling long frosty walks or as a fireside treat in the dark of midwinter evening, this pie works brilliantly at the centre of a roast with all the trimmings. If you’re feeling creative, a whisky and tarragon cream sauce is a great match alongside your favourite winter greens and root vegetables, with maybe a little warming spice thrown in; ginger, cumin and caraway are particularly harmonious.
Every Christmas dinner needs a show-stopper, so we’ve got a cracking Cashew, Walnut & Date Loaf with a Herb & Peanut Crust that will take centre stage (though we must admit it also makes an amazing stuffing). These are available to pre-order priced £7.50!
