Earth Hour 2014 is taking place between 8:30 and 9:30 pm Saturday 29th March. It is an opportunity for people across the world to unite in celebration of our planet and think about what we can do to help create a brighter future, by participating in a symbolic ‘lights out’.
Many famous landmarks plunge themselves into darkness for the hour – a transformation of our landscapes and cityscapes that can remind us all of the interdependence we share with each other and with our environment.
We’re teaming up with many other individuals and organisations in support of the World Wildlife Fund’s Earth Hour by pledging to spend Earth Hour in darkness, planning how we are going to monitor our energy consumption as a business and at home so we can put in place some targets to reduce our impact on the resources of our planet.
We’d love to hear from any of you who join in…
