Making Hay While the Sun Shines

We’ve had a great start to the Hay Festival. Our spot in the shadow of Hay Castle in the Honesty Bookshop is a perfect Oasis amongst the to-ings and fro-ings of the main street in town.

Our hot food has been going down a storm with festival goers and we’ve had loads of great feedback about our festival menu. The ever popular Glamorgan Crumble has morphed into a burger, which you can have in a wonderful Tortoise Bakery organic roll or with a scrumptious bulgar wheat, chick pea, carrot and coriander salad. Other choices proving to be favourites are the Welsh Leek Haggis burger, and the Spiced Haloumi Citrus burger. We’re hoping the blue skies over the weekend return this week!
