Our Story

This is a story of how truly delicious food grew at the hands of Ben and Flo – who created The Parsnipship in 2007 – starting life on a market stall in Cardiff, to the point where production moved into the hands of Deborah and Neil of Cinderhill Farm – whose business also started on a market stall in the heart of the Forest of Dean in 2013.

Two great food businesses, both forged on market stalls: early mornings, cold hands …. and customers who tell you the truth with their wallets.

In that brutal, real-world arena, only genuinely good food survives. It rises, it earns its place, and it thrives — in a way that doesn’t always happen on supermarket shelves.

Today thousands of Parsnipship products are made every week in the heart of the Forest of Dean, in a bespoke Vegan and Vegetarian production kitchen with dedicated staff who – quite simply – love the food that they make.
